Pocket size enclosures from TEKO

19 December 2007

TEKO has introduced the compact and ergonomically styled MinitekNet plastic hand-held case for the latest pocket size electronic applications, including RF and infra-red remote control units, medical equipment, detection devices, measurement systems, and personal security equipment.

The new enclosures feature ‘soft-touch’ edge grips for secure and comfortable handling, and these edge grips also provide protection for the case mouldings. The standard case material is off-white, RAL 9002 or black, RAL 9004 ABS (UL 94 HB) with a modern textured finish. The edge grips are in contrasting light grey or dark grey elastomer, which can also be moulded in other colours.

The cases consist of three parts, a top and base moulding and a clip-on battery compartment lid. The integral battery compartment will accept two 1.5V AA cells or a 9V cell. Cases are assembled by four self-tapping screws, and internal PCB screw pillars are provided in the top and base parts. With external dimensions of 115 x 70 x 24 mm, all models feature a recessed top moulding for a membrane keypad, display module or product label. Prices start at £11.
