Analogue and digital indicator updated
28 August 2007
BEKA has recently updated it's BA326C 4/20mA loop-powered combined analogue and digital indicator. The instrument, which was initially launched in 2000, now increases the analogue display refresh rate to four readings per second, further extending its many applications.
The combination of a 100 segment fast analogue bargraph, and a four-and-a-half digit display, provides operators with a quick-and-easy way to read indication of magnitude and trend, plus an accurate numerical value in engineering units.
The BA326C has ATEX Group II Category 1G (EEx ia IIC T5) intrinsic safety certification, and FM intrinsic safety and nonincendive approval. It only introduces a 1V drop in the loop allowing use in almost any 4/20mA intrinsically safe circuit. For safe area applications, the BA526C has the same features as the BA326C, including the new increased refresh rate. Both models are available with a backlight and optional alarms.
