Brushless dc motor with integrated control and power electronics
18 February 2016
The latest addition to Dunkermotoren's BG rotary brushless motors range is the BG 95 CI, providing an output power of over 1kW in an ultra-compact unit which incorporates all necessaary power and control electronics.

It features an integrated CANopen interface (connected via separate connectors) to enable easy integration into a CANopen network and comes in voltage variants from 24 up to 60Vdc.
The BG 95 CI provides the benefits of permanent output of 1,100 W along with internal algorithms that provide continuous calculations of winding and power component temperatures. This means that the drive can be temporarily overloaded by up to three times its continuous power, without the risk of damage.
The motor is equipped with standard flange and standard shaft according to DIN EN 50347 and can be used with planetary and worm gearboxes as well as with encoders and brakes. The option of an IP65 ‘weather-proofed’ version is also available on request.
The motor is available in two compact sizes of 95 x 40mm and 95 x 80mm (length & width).
The new motor will be available to view at the forthcoming Drives & Controls show.
