Introduction to visualisation with Visu+ Express and HMI

01 March 2016

The document “First steps with Visu+ Express and HMI” from Phoenix Contact offers new users an insight into the Visu+ visualisation software.

The document also shows you how the HMI, controller, and development environment interact with one another in principle.

Users are guided every step of the way until completion of the visualisation project. This involves creating a new project in Visu+, designing a user interface via the import of variables from the controller via OPC, and linking with Visu+ application objects. The guide finally shows the user how to transfer the finished project to the HMI and how to operate the Visu+ application from there.

No prior knowledge is needed to use the document. The introduction is structured such that quickly visible results are achieved and the user can create an image from the interaction of the products. The document and the project files can be downloaded free of charge from the download area of each Visu+ HMI.
