The new design will be based on the Vision Next 100 concept that was unveiled in March.

Very few details have been released about this new autonomous vehicle, but it has been suggested that it could compete with Tesla’s existing range of vehicles. However, it seems that BMW wish to go more futuristic in its design, the Vision Next 100 suggests a car that can fully drive itself when the owner doesn’t want to but can hand back control and offers a fun and sporty ride when they want.

CEO Harald Krueger said the iNext will be able to drive itself in various situations and will have a completely new interior design and offer a cutting-edge electric powertrain.
