MGS returns to Subcon with new product lines
23 May 2016
MGS Technical Plastics is to exhibit once more at Subcon, where it will showcase new innovations developed over the last 12 months.
The Lancashire company first exhibited at the popular tradeshow in 2012 and has since invested over £2m in moving to a purpose built premises with new machinery and technology
At this year's event, MGS will showcase products from its automotive, washroom, pest control and safety market sectors, as well as presenting its own brand of Microware cookware products.
MGS is one of the leading companies to offer the full plastic moulding service - including design and development, tool sourcing, assembly, packaging and worldwide delivery - all under one roof.
This has helped the company increase turnover by 28 percent in the last year, from £4.2 to £5.4m.
Director John Sturgess said: "We are in the middle of a period of rapid growth and we have a lot of new developments and new products which we are looking forward to showing off.
"The strength of our reputation has helped us grow in recent years but our retained customers have also been key to our success - we deliver excellent products and nurture our client relationships."
MGS's injection moulded products, which range from large housings requiring assembly to mass-produced plastic caps and filters, and flagship examples from its printing, design, welding, in-house tool-making and assembly services portfolio will all be on display.
"Subcon is the ideal opportunity for us to put our products, new and old, into the hands of potential customers and prove the level of quality we work to," added Sturgess.
Subcon, the manufacturing supply chain show dedicated to contract and subcontract manufacturing, covering design, prototyping, finishing and testing, takes place at the Birmingham NEC from June 7 to 9. MGS Technical Plastics can be found at stand C72.
