29 June 2016

Bose’s Speaker Cube is an educational kit that lets anyone build and customise their own durable, high-performance Bluetooth speaker.

The Speaker Cube is the first in Bose’s range of educational products designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Everything about the product has been designed with the younger generation in mind, the parts are rugged and resilient and the app-driven construction steps are easy to follow. Cables and connectors are big, bright and easy to handle and the circuit board is clearly labelled.

The kit includes the following items:
• Control panel
• Magnet
• Coil
• Speaker assembly
• Customisable covers
• Chassis to house it all

The end result will be a durable, high-performance Bluetooth speaker that when used will provide the Bose-quality sound expected and even displays customisable coloured LED lighting

The speaker will work with any Bluetooth 3.0 or higher device but the kit works best with Apple products. This is because the BOSEbuild Sound companion app only works with iOS 8.0 or above.

The kit is available for £110.89 ($149).
