Bringing high-performance portfolio to technology innovators worldwide

14 July 2016

RS Components and Intersil announced a distribution agreement that allows RS to offer the complete Intersil product range to its customers in all territories worldwide.

The Intersil product range, including solutions for battery management, digital power, high-speed data conversion and signal conditioning, complements the RS portfolio of ICs, discretes and associated components that are trusted by major customers in the industrial, advanced automotive, telecom, high-performance computing, and other dynamic technology sectors. Intersil also has strong optoelectronic, audio, interfacing, switching and multiplexing, and high-reliability product lines, which further boost the selection of high-value-add semiconductors now available at RS.

“RS Components has a long history of providing great support to the electronics community across many customers, markets and technologies, and this agreement will extend support for our wide range of power and analogue ICs,” said Chris Lister, Intersil’s Vice President of Sales. “We see RS as a valuable part of our sales network as we continue to expand our portfolio to address the customers’ design challenges especially in the power management area.”

Jonathan Boxall, Head of Semiconductors at RS, added, “As an authorised distributor for Intersil, we now enjoy an even stronger position as a world-class supplier of high-performance semiconductors. We expect to grow sales rapidly and strongly, leveraging our highly tuned and responsive global logistical infrastructure.”
