Routeco LIVE industrial automation events kick off in October

Later this year Routeco will showcase the very latest in Industrial Control & Automation products and provide a platform for learning about the latest trends and hot topics within the industrial sector.
These events will comprise both a show floor, where you will find exhibits from a range of global leading brands and three breakout rooms with presentations and discussions running throughout the day covering topics such as;
• Industry 4.0 / SMART Manufacturing
• IT/OT Convergence
• Machinery Safety, Legislation & Standards
• Accessing Global Markets / NEMA Standards
• Enabling Industrial IoT Technologies
• Cyber Security protection concepts
• Migration of legacy control systems
• Motion Control & Integrated Safety
The breakout rooms have been organised into three dedicated forums covering the latest subjects within the industry;
Manufacturing Forum: Here, top companies will present on prevalent subjects within manufacturing. Cisco will be talking about the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and how it applies to Industrial Manufacturing and Panduit will present on designing and deploying future proof network infrastructures. Other companies presenting include Iguana Security, Stratus Technologies, Rockwell Automation and CP Automation.
Machine Building Forum: In this break out room Rockwell Automation will demonstrate how you can create SMART Machines using your current assets, covering topics such as remote connectivity, data enablement and cloud based analytics. There will also be presentations from Molex about On-Machine Connectivity, SMC Pneumatics will give you a fully integrated ‘total machine solution’ and Hardy Process Solutions will discuss Intelligent Weighing Solutions for OEMs.
System Integration & Panel Building Forum: System Integration & Panel Building Forum: Presentation topics covered in this breakout room include ergonomic panel building solutions from Rittal, Migration of legacy control systems by Prosoft Technology and an insight into the EPLAN design software suite. There will also be some handy explainer sessions on unlocking the value of apprenticeships and claiming R&D tax credits for SME’s.
There will also be two keynote addresses on the day from guest speakers Tomas Donato (EMEA President at Rockwell Automation) and Steve Brambley (Director of Public Affairs at GAMBICA).
These events will be held at the following venues;
- Tuesday 4 October 2016 at AJ Bell Stadium, Salford, Near Manchester
- Thursday 6 October 2016 at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
These are free of charge events to attend, however all delegates must pre-register to gain entry and early registration is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
