Despite the design featuring only three wheels, the concept has been styled to emphasise the mechanical nature of a two-wheeled motorcycle.

Three crucial patent applications related to the Neowing were published recently. The patents detail a design which reduces the spacing between left and right front wheels. This helps achieve smaller vehicle width.

One of the main features of the design is its excellent cornering capabilities. This is achieved by varying the limit of the turning angle of the front wheels according to the swinging angle. Calculation of an appropriate operation amount in conformity with the drivers intention: i.e. achieve a smooth operation of the actuator.

Under the sporty bodywork, the Neowing is powered by a hybrid powertrain that combines a horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with electric motors.

The Honda Neowing will be premiered world-wide at the end of October.
