Is it a bird, is it a plane? No, it’s a flying car!

07 October 2016

AeroMobil is the cleverly designed flying car that transforms from an automobile to an airplane in seconds, allowing you to travel in style.

AeroMobil makes perfect use of the existing design and infrastructure created for cars and planes and opens many doors for a variety of transport options. The car fits into any parking space, uses regular petrol and can be used in road traffic like a normal car. As a plane, it can take off and land from any airport in the world, using a grass strip or a paved surface just a few hundred metres long.

The current prototype, AeroMobil 3.0, incorporates improvements and upgrades compared to its predecessor, the AeroMobil 2.5. It has been in regular flight testing, in real flight conditions since October 2014.

The AeroMobil 3.0 is built from advanced composite materials, including its body shell, wings and wheels. It also features all the main designs that will be incorporated into the final product, such as avionics equipment, autopilot and an advanced parachute deployment system.

Other advanced technologies include a variable angle of attack of the wings that shortens the take-off requirements and sturdy suspension that enables it to take-off and land even in rough terrain.
