An ever-lasting notebook built for the digital age
05 December 2016
The Everlast notebook provides a classic pen and paper experience but is endlessly reusable and connects to all your favourite Cloud services.
When writing using any pen from the Pilot Frixion line, it sticks to the Everlast pages like regular paper. But, simply add a drop of water and the notes erase like magic! A dry paper towel has no effect, but a moist one removes every bit of ink, so you can reuse the notebook over and over again.
Frixion gel ballpoint pens come in different kinds and colours and can be purchased online and in store. The ink in the pens dries in about 15 seconds, after that the writing or drawings cannot be erased without moisture.
The notebook is compatible with the Rocketbook app, meaning before you erase your notes, they can go online to destinations like Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote.
The Rocketbook System is the combination of a special notebook and a free mobile app. Write notes and draw designs with the pen on the notebook, then using the patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app accurately and quickly captures and sends your notes to pre-configured Cloud services. Straight away, the app crops and enhances each pages so the digital notes are more crisp and vibrant than the real thing.
Each page of the notebook contains a special QR code which tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan. This means your notes will always be in the right order. Each page also has a narrow, dark border surrounding it, meaning the app can find your page quickly in any environment or background.
The ever-lasting notebook is currently featuring a campaign on Kickstarter, click here for more information.
