The new Werma catalogue has arrived featuring nearly 300 pages

23 February 2017

Werma announces the arrival of its new 2017 catalogue with pages of innovative products from the world of beacons and sounders with helpful technical information.

Werma established already an industry standard with its range of modular signal towers and today manufactures a wide range of optical and audible devices for process optimisation in industry and logistics. With a worldwide first, Werma now offers signal towers which are wirelessly networked together to provide a simple retro-fit solution for machine and workstation monitoring and data collection.

Select the right product for the job

What sort of siren do I need given my ambient noise levels? Is there a suitable bracket for the installation of my LED beacon? How can I upgrade my signal tower to a machine and workstation monitoring system? The answers to all of these questions and many more can be found quickly and easily in the new-look Werma catalogue.

For example, at the beginning of each product family section there is a simple overview of the range with features and benefits, typical application examples and accessories available for ease of installation. To round it all off, the new 2017 catalogue has a brand new cover and page layout.

How bright or loud are the products? – New performance index

To make selection of the right product as simple as possible a new performance index has been introduced in the new catalogue. The brightness and loudness indices use data from Werma’s extensive test data and take into account the very subjective nature of scaling such data. This is especially important because of the inherent difficulties in establishing a universal standard for, for example, brightness.  A moving light, for example, has a higher recognition factor to the eye than a static light. Similarly, certain variable or pulse tones will have a higher recognition factor than a permanent tone. The performance index allows you to make the most appropriate choice for your application.
