The East Japan Railway Company decided to create a journey full of experiences and discoveries. The luxury Shiki-shima train is designed to offer its passengers a prime view of Japan’s natural scenery, local industries and unique culture.

The main part of the Shiki-shima experience is the observatory cars. At the front and rear of the train, these cars feature glass walls and ceilings that offer clear views of all that is passing by.

The train also features a shared lounge car, dining room car and six private suite cars.

According to the BBC, tickets range from £2,220 to around $10,000 and you can chose from a two or four day trip.
