New gearheads introduced

alpha gearheads has added two high-end products to round off its portfolio of low-backlash planetary gearheads. The helical-toothed large SP+ 210 / SP+240 (Sumo SP+) gearhead and the TP+ 300 / TP+ 500 (Sumo TP+) achieve torques of up to 10,000Nm in both single and two-stage gearheads. Therefore, alpha technology is now also being used in large modules.

The completed + series enables alpha customers to select products from the entire spectrum of alpha technology for applications from 5 Nm up to 10,000 Nm, with torsional backlashes of <6´ or just <1´, and all ratios from 3:1 to 220:1.
