Silicon Valley e-learning school Udacity has opened applications for its Flying Car Nanodegree programme. Submit your application now!

Udacity founder and flying car pioneer Sebastian Thrun announced the programme four months ago. 

Successful applicants will join a host of highly skilled autonomous flight engineers, such as:

• Sebastian Thrun: Acknowledged “Father of the Self-Driving Car;” professor at Stanford; founder of X, Kitty Hawk, and Udacity.
• Nicholas Roy: Professor at MIT; founder of  X Project Wing.
• Angela Schoellig: Professor at University of Toronto; MIT 35 Under 35.
• Raffaello D’Andrea: Professor at ETH Zurich; founder of Kiva Systems (now Amazon Robotics) and Verity Studios.

The programme curriculum will be centred around Aerial Robotics; learn the concepts required to design and develop robots that fly and Intelligent Air Systems; looking at the specifics of flying cars and coordinated autonomous systems.
