The SPX FLOW ClydeUnion Pumps brand is well known for its pumping solutions in demanding markets such as oil exploration, refining and distribution, water treatment and distribution, desalination and other industrial processes.
With 140 years of expertise in the field of flow technologies, a continuous program of research and development, and the ability to precisely engineer and customise pumps to exact process requirements, ClydeUnion Pumps is a partner of choice for critical pumping solutions.
The ClydeUnion Pumps CUP-BB5 is the latest generation of high pressure, multi-stage, barrel case pump and part of an extensive portfolio of high pressure pumps designed to the latest API specifications and for compliance with the most stringent global oil industry requirements. Engineered in a variety of configurations to match process needs, the pump is ideal for applications including seawater injection, produced water reinjection, flow-line displacement, crude oil pipeline, NGL pipeline, refinery process charging, gas treatment, boiler feed and refined product pipeline distribution. Designed for high efficiency and reliable operations, the pump is available with opposed or inline impeller arrangements; volute or diffuser-based hydraulics; foot or centreline mounting, and a choice of construction materials from carbon steels to super duplex. The BB5 is also available with ClydeUnion Pumps’ unique shear ring design to reduce cartridge overhaul weight and times, whilst also eliminating the need for torqueing equipment.
Also from the ClydeUnion Pumps brand, the Uniglide-e axially split case, single stage, double entry pump offers impressive reliability for the efficient movement of high volumes of fluids. Based on ClydeUnion Pumps’ extensive experience in the manufacture of split case pumps, the pump is highly efficient, has low net positive suction head (NPSH), produces stable flow characteristics, is easy to maintain, and offers customers a low total cost of ownership. The pump is available with WRAS and NSF coatings suitable for potable water and is typically used in applications such as industrial and domestic water treatment, water pipelines, desalination, district heating and cooling systems and other industrial processes.
