Stainless steel actuators
09 June 2008
As well as its standard Techline range of electric linear actuators, which have been successfully used in countless industrial applications, LINAK UK has recently introduced a range of stainless steel actuators.
Developed specifically to operate in harsh environments and where cleanliness is paramount, these robust actuators are able to withstand high temperature fluctuations as well as the most stringent cleaning regimes and strong detergents. Easy to install and maintenance-free, they provide smooth and controlled linear motion with thrusts up to 12,000N and a maximum stroke length of 999mm. An optional in-built feedback provides additional safety with accurate positioning of the actuator.
Like all LINAK actuators, they are clean and safe in operation without any risk of air or hydraulic leaks and contamination.
As well as the stainless steel range, LINAK has also launched the all new LA35 actuator. A midsized electric linear actuator, and smaller sister to the highly rated LA36, it has been developed to operate in extremely harsh conditions carrying a high IP66/IP69k static rating, meaning that it can be washed down using high pressure jet washers, and a working temperature range of -10°C to 50°C. The robust design is further enhanced by a heavy duty aluminium housing and advanced shaft sealing.
Precise control is facilitated by the use of in-built limit switches and by advanced feedback options - either analogue or absolute feedback - both of which are non contact, thus ensuring long life. Optional advanced feedback systems and stainless steel options are also available.
LA35 features exchangeable cables and is available in 12V or 24V developing a thrust of 600N and a stroke length of 600mm.
