BCN3D offer its 3D printers to help fight COVID-19

18 March 2020

BCN3D is helping innovators by making its 3D printers available for scientific, medical and health validated projects to fight COVID-19 in Spain, Europe and all around the world.

These last few days, with a global pandemic taking lives and forcing us all to take drastic measures to prevent the Covid-19 virus from disseminating further, there have been many rays of light in the form of innovators worldwide, who are putting their ideas and energy into the task of developing new ways to help those in need.

These people are an inspiration to us all, and BCN3D want to enable them to bring their projects to life, so that help can reach further every day. For that reason, it has launched a campaign to offer all its 3D printing technology to hospitals, medical and scientific centres that need this technology for the manufacture of respiratory equipment parts that care for patients affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

It would like to offer its own printfarm, composed of a total of 63 machines (FFF technology 3D printers: Sigma, Sigmax and BCN3D Epsilon), to be used for those projects that can contribute the most to the public benefit in these hard times.

So if you or somebody you know has an idea or plan that can change the face of this pandemic and help others at large scale, get in touch at covid19help@bcn3d.com. The company will look into each proposal and put all of its machines at the disposal of those with a well-thought, scientifically validated project who can be of help for many.
