BPMA partners with Make UK

17 July 2020

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) – the trade organisation representing the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and related equipment – has recently partnered with Make UK, the manufacturers’ organisation.

Make UK is the largest force backing UK manufacturing and has been helping the sector to compete, innovate and grow for more than 120 years. You can find out more by visiting the website: https://www.makeuk.org.

In these quite extraordinary times, Make UK are in regular contact with the Government and are working hard to support all areas of the manufacturing sector. The latest COVID-19 related updates and resources, including some very useful FAQs, are available here: https://www.makeuk.org/coronavirus

As part of the agreement, BPMA representatives will be in regular contact with Make UK’s policy and lobbying teams and will be helping them to understand the pump sector and the specific challenges it faces. So, if you are a pump manufacturer or supplier, please keep an eye out for Make UK surveys, and email communications detailing of the various resources and benefits they will be promoting and sharing.

The partnership also entitles all BPMA member companies to Affiliate Membership of Make UK. This will provide a range of benefits to complement the existing BPMA membership, including:

• Industry reports, publications, and insight
• Member events, webinars, podcasts, and briefings
• A range of discounted products and services
• Preferential rates on the Brexit Toolkit and Pay Benchmarking reports

Should you require further information, please contact Steve Smith at the BPMA on +44 (0) 121 601 6691 or by email on s.smith@bpma.org.uk. Alternatively, you are welcome to contact Make UK directly on affiliates@makeuk.org
