Parvalux launches planetary gearhead range
26 November 2008
Visitors to this week’s Automation show in Nuremberg are being given the chance to examine the very first available 60mm samples from Parvalux’s new line of high quality planetary gearheads: the HP range. The new range has been designed to operate marginally below that of servo specifications, allowing Parvalux to offer a cutting-edge planetary design for a fraction of the cost of a specialised servo-application gearhead.
Key features include:
Designed and built in the UK - Available in 3 frames sizes: 42mm, 60mm and 86mm - 68 gear ratios in 1-4 stages enabling an output speed range of 0.1 to 1000rpm - Available as stand-alone gearbox with a direct-fit or servo-coupling interface; or as a stand-alone 1-4 stage speed reducer - Customisable output shaft
NEMA square, metric, custom and IEC-B14 (56, 63 & 71) output flange options - Polished nickel-plated finish as standard.
Customers can now order samples and prototypes of the HP60, which will be available in quantity from the New Year. The 42mm frame is expected to follow in mid 2009 with the 86mm completing the range by the end of the year.
To coincide with the launch of the 60mm frame size, Parvalux have also released a new short-form catalogue outlining 18 recommended gear-motor combinations for the HP60, as well as details of the stand-alone gearbox and speed reducer options.
