Lift Inverter has built-in energy saving

16 December 2008

Gefran’s AVRy series inverters feature built-in ‘clean power ’ energy recovery technology for both new and existing lift drive applications, resulting in reduced operating system costs. The AVry works for both synchronous and a, geared or gearless motors up to 15 kW. The AVry drive features unity power factor operation with harmonic distortion less than 4% - meeting the requirements for low harmonic regulations.

Available in three power ranges with rated input of 12, 22 and 29 kVA, and with input voltages from 3 x 400 Vac to 3 x 480 VA, the AVRy can also be supplied for single-phase, 230 Vac on request.

Aimed firmly at the lift industry with a user friendly keypad and menu driven set-up including ‘real unit’ lift parameters, the AVRy includes dedicated elevator features such as lift sequence, lift mechanical parameterisation, ramp generation and landing control. The AVRy also includes space vector modulation for extremely quite operation and is suited to geared and gearless lift applications up to 5m/s and beyond.

The drive enclosure has screw terminal strip connections for easy installation and optional fieldbus connection is made possible with expansion cards for Interbus-S, Profibus-DP, GENIUS, CANopen or DeviceNet.
