Fläkt Woods offers new fan ranges with innovative features

Fläkt Woods' new e3-Line concept, includes its JM range of fans fitted with high efficiency Eff1 motors. This platform is already complete and will enable the even higher efficiency rating motors to be introduced in compliance with the International Standard IEC 60034-30. The company has also introduced a mixed flow tube fan that has enhanced efficiency compared with simple duct fans. This, too, will be introduced as part of the e3 range, giving improved airflow and reduced energy consumption. The e3-line M Fan is suitable for applications involving low specific fan power with high pressure.

Other efficiency improvements in this product line-up include enhancements to the impellers using a patented tip feature that achieves low noise and increased efficiency, and optimisation of the company's guide vane range.

Fläkt Woods has also launched three new versions of its Jet Thrust fan system. The first of these features the new patented tip design, while the second is a ductless version; this low profile type is aesthetically pleasing and capable of withstanding very high temperatures for prolonged periods. The third new form is an induction fan, available in two styles. Both will operate at even higher temperatures that the second version, and like the previous products, is suitable for reducing carbon monoxide levels and assisting with the extraction of smoke in the event of a fire.
