Electric actuators provide smooth and precise linear motion
15 October 2009
The EMA series of industrial electric linear actuators from Power Jacks deliver powerful, smooth and precise linear motion in a compact unit for low to medium duty applications (loads up to 10kN). The actuators feature a precision spiroid gear set that delivers superior performance compared with a similarly sized worm gear set.
Depending on the performance required, the gear set drives either a machine screw or ball screw to move the ram. A wide range of options is available, including clutches and limit switches, that will suit most applications. All actuators are driven by electric motors, ac or dc. The actuator design can be customised by Power Jacks, if required.
Load rating up to 10kN
Linear Speed up to 5,500mm/min
Stroke up to 2,000mm
Motors available in 3 phase ac, 1 phase ac or dc designs.
