Flexible slip ring configurations for power and signal transmission

09 June 2010

The new Inmoco SRH 80180 and SRH 90195 series slip rings can be used in any system requiring the transmission of electrical and power signals to an intermittently or continuously rotating shaft. The 80180 and 90195 slip rings offer 80mm and 90mm internal diameters respectively and have a lifespan of 20-million revolutions (nominal speed 250rpm). Capacities are from 6 to 96 circuits, with up to 216 as an option. Their optimized size allows installation into compact systems; while a combination of low friction torque, high insulation resistance (>1000MΩ/500Vdc) and tough ABS housings guarantees high operating reliability and long life.

Both SRH series are suitable for 600Vac/Vdc and 15A (20A optional) operation. They are IP51 protected (IP65 optional) and tolerate an operational temperature range of -40 degrees C to +80 degrees C. The devices can be easily customised in terms of the number of circuits available, and both flying lead and PG gland connection options are available.
