Metal faced seals can be customised to meet specific application requirements

01 July 2010

Eriks subsidiary, Pioneer Weston has introduced a range of competitively priced metal faced seals for tough rotary applications. There's a broad mix of standard sizes and dimensions to fit the widest range of applications; pairs of seals from 38mm ID to 1.5m ID are already available, with further special variations being added as new applications are identified.

Metal faced seals offer bearing protection and lubricant retention on any relatively slow moving rotary shaft. This new range was designed at a dedicated UK sealing technology centre in Warrington, and assembled in the UK. Products can be adapted and re-engineered to match virtually any custom application.
