Colourful Tpes Make Soft, Latex-Like Films

01 April 2001

New thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds from Teknor Apex enable
suppliers of film for medical and personal hygiene products to achieve

allergenic reactions observed in some latex users), while taking full
advantage of the material's ease of colouring. Part of Teknor's Monoprene
range, the new film grades can be processed in conventional blown- or
cast-film extrusion systems, and can be coloured to virtually any hue.
