Flexalloy Thermoplastic Elastomer Compounds Brochure Published

01 October 2000

Teknor Apex has published a ten-page brochure describing its high
performance Flexalloy thermoplastic elastomer compounds. These ultra high
molecular weight PVC materials include grades for automotive, medical,
wire and cable, and general purpose applications, as well as grades
offering oil and chemical resistance.

Comparative data included in the brochure demonstrates the performance of
Flexalloy in injection moulding and extrusion processes compared with
general purpose flexible PVC compounds and other thermoplastic
elastomers. Teknor claims high levels of strength, elasticity and
low-temperature flexibility for Flexalloy, as well as superior resistance
to compressions et and improved hot-melt strength.
