High performance videoscope has a 3.8mm probe

23 January 2012

Outstanding quality images are produced with the new MicroEye videoscope from Ultrafine Technology thanks to the micro image sensor located at the extreme tip of the probe. Only 3.8mm in diameter, the flexible probe has LED illumination and two-way angulation of the tip. With its wide 85 degree field of view, the unit is ideal for the inspection of cylinder heads, gearboxes, heat exchangers and other machinery that requires high quality inspection without the need for strip down.

The probe is 1,000mm long and 3.8mm in diameter with a synthetic outer covering, or 4.1mm with a tungsten braid covering for more robust applications.

LED illumination intensity can be controlled via the compact control unit, which has a USB output as well as two composite video connectors.

The videoscope comes with a 10.4in TFT monitor, stand and carrying case, with drivers and demonstration software on a CD.
