Stemmer Imaging announces programme for first Open Day

The programme for Stemmer Imaging's Open Day features 30 seminars running over six concurrent tracks, and is set to be the largest UK event in 2012 for machine vision technology.

This opportunity to learn more about machine vision and discuss applications and technologies, features taster sessions for those new to the technology and more technical sessions for machine vision veterans.
The Open Day will be held on September 12 at Stemmer’s newly refurbished and expanded UK premises in Tongham, Surrey. The day is split into eight sessions where visitors can choose one of six track options on each session. Some sessions that are expected to be popular are repeated.
Tracks include:Camera technologies; Acquisition and software technologies; Machine vision solutions; Machine vision training; Lights, lenses and components for machine vision; Exhibition and talk with the experts
Topics covered will range some of the latest developments in machine vision hardware and software, including the new USB 3.0, CoaXPress and Camera link HS interfaces and a master class for Common Vision Blox, Stemmer’s own Vision Development Environment.
For people taking the first steps in learning about machine vision there will be a training taster program from the European Imaging Academy along with seminars about easy to use vision systems.
