‘Small is beautiful’ with Sanyo Denki’s 14mm stepper motors

01 October 2012

Need compact, low weight stepper motors? The new SH2141 motors are half the size and a quarter of the weight of current Sanyo Denki products.

Weighing in at only 28g with a 14mm frame size and a 30mm long body these motors allow precise control of small control elements and still pack a 6.5mNm torque. With a single shaft and dual shaft version, the products are designed for the precision movement of lightweight parts such as small tools, grippers and cylinders on the tips of robotic arms, or for the movement of small objects in instrumentation and medical electronics.
