Siemens’ offers free 30-day trial of its Tecnomatix software

30 January 2013

Siemens PLM Software is offering a free 30-day trial of the latest versions of its Tecnomatix portfolio for digital manufacturing. Plant Simulation and RobotExpert software will be given to manufacturers, to allow them to better evaluate how the technology can create value for their businesses.

RobotExpert

“Industry data shows that manufacturers can increase logistics system productivity by as much as 20 percent "through the use of plant simulation software," says Tom Hoffman, director of marketing, Manufacturing Engineering Software. "While robotic simulation can increase throughput for shop floor robots, helping to boost their productivity. By offering a free 30-day trial, we help manufacturers learn and explore how their businesses can benefit from the use of Tecnomatix digital manufacturing applications.”

Plant Simulation is a discrete event simulation software used for logistics planning and manufacturing throughput analysis. It is an object oriented, 3D modelling tool used to perform discrete event simulation and value stream mapping.

RobotExpert is an easy-to-use robotic simulation and offline programming software that helps manufacturers plan and manage their industrial robotic systems efficiently. The software can virtually optimise robotic processes, thereby reducing system setup time, minimising downtime and increasing throughput for shop floor robots.

The free 30-day trial licenses for Plant Simulation and RobotExpert are available immediately. Click on the relevant links to submit a request for the free trials.
