Cast aluminium centrifugal blower for industrial applications

Fläkt Woods has launched a cast aluminium centrifugal pressure blower. Suitable for materials handling applications, the new fan has an extremely flexible design with a variety of mounting arrangements allowing it to be bolted to most production and processing equipment. Aluminium pressure blowers have applications in the movement and handling of materials on production lines, dust conveying or other industrial airstreams, including air pollution control .

It comes in a split housing, for ease of maintenance and installation, and consists of a rugged cast aluminium casing and wheel, which is spark resistant, lightweight and rustproof. The model is also available in fabricated steel and stainless steel construction for more demanding industrial applications and has a flange mounted option for compactness and mounting flexibility.

The new range of fans consist of five basic sizes, with impeller options including, forward, backward and radial curve wheels for, enabling the unit to achieve pressures of up to 20” SPwg and volumes to 4,000 cfm.
