One module for both voltage and current sensor signals

27 January 2015

Murrelektronik's new MASI68 compact four-channel expansion module processes analogue voltage signals and current signals from sensors in just one unit.

Four measuring channels are available that can be configured individually, simplifying installation. Hitherto, two analogue modules had to be integrated into systems with different signals (voltage and current, for example).

According to requirements, the user can configure which of the four ports are used for which signals.

It is also possible to select sensor current and voltage ranges - 4-20mA, 0-20mA and 0-10V - avoiding the need for additional modules.

The MASI68 housing is fully potted, with ingress protection rated to IP68. The unit is equipped with M12 cordsets, the M12 shielded connection and functional earth ensuring full EMC compliance.

As an expansion module, MASI68 is easily integrated into existing AS-Interface structures and can also be daisy chained.
