Pump elements ensure design flexibility

A range of custom-designed Gerotor pump elements for OEMs is now available through miniature component specialist, Lee Products. In many OEM applications design flexibility is crucial, so the facility for engineers to be able to source individual components and elements, rather than being limited by the constraints of 'standard' components, is always the better option.

These internal lobe Gerotor pump elements are manufactured using a wire EDM process, as opposed to traditional broaching, ensuring that the conductive materials are cut cleanly and efficiently without physical contact, and to a very high degree of accuracy without burrs. The process is suitable for delicate parts and, as no tooling is required, it reduces set-up costs and prototype production time.

They are available in stainless steel and bronze with widths from 2.45mm to 28.45mm, and diameters from 20.32mm to 91.44mm.
