Direct-acting solenoid improves flow with low power

As a result of research into the marketplace and assessments of client demands, Midland-ACS' new 70 series solenoid valve provides higher flow rates, while at the same time consuming less power than traditional productsike. The direct-acting 3/2 hazardous area solenoid valve is constructed from type 316 stainless steel and is available with connections from ¼” – ½”NPT. It is EExd IIC T6 certified, with IP67 Ingress Protection and is also IECex certified. Power consumption is just 3.5W over the temperature range of -50°C to +60°C and the weight of the unit is 3.2kg. It is available in 12v, 24v, 110v dc and 24v, 110v, 230v ac versions.
