Pump motor controller available

30 July 2007

Curtis has launched model 1298, which is an integrated ac traction and dc pump motor controller for use
in pedestrian and pedestrian stacking applications. Model 1298 offers 24V 200 amp traction and 24v 300amp pump control to soften hydraulic functions thereby improving drive, operability and user satisfaction. Generic software is included for pedestrian and pedestrian stacking applications, allowing OEMs to reduce design time and ultimately time to market.

Key to the flexibility and power of Curtis ac motor controllers is the incorporation of Vehicle Control Language (VCL), a programming language developed by Curtis specifically for industrial electric vehicles. This high level, easy-to-use language provides unique input and output features, integrates functions and controls the overall operation of the vehicle, allowing OEM designers and Curtis engineers to write VCL programs, differentiating between customers and applications. Specialised software features allow for economical and effective control of electrical systems.

Curtis ac controllers are designed to operate with Curtis Model 1311 Handheld Programmer, which features intuitive menus, an ergonomic design and a large LCD graphic screen. For real time information on the vehicle, controllers connect to the Curtis Model 840 LCD Display, providing a cost-effective means to communicate battery status, vehicle use time, maintenance scheduling and error codes.
