Free guide to thermal imaging
09 August 2007
Fluke, a specialist in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, is offering a free Thermal Imaging Pack.
The pack includes applications guidance through a series of articles; a DVD which demonstrates practical applications for thermal imaging cameras; a four-page leaflet covering training courses at the Operator-level and for Level-1 Certification; and also details Fluke’s wide range of thermal imaging cameras.
The series of Fluke Application Notes cover how to detect loose or corroded electrical connections, detecting electrical unbalance and overload, inspecting electrical motors, and inspecting steam systems.
The Fluke Thermal Imaging Application DVD - “Thermal imaging in industrial applications” - covers the principles of thermal imaging and explains how this powerful troubleshooting technology can be used to locate and troubleshoot hotspots around industrial complexes. It covers, for example, the inspection of infrastructure and electrical systems.
The information sheet on Thermal Imaging Training covers in detail the content of two-day Camera Operators’ Courses, and four-day Level 1 Thermography Certification Courses: these are put on in partnership between Fluke and the Institute of Infrared Thermography.
Fluke’s thermal imaging cameras include the Fluke Ti20 Infrared Thermal Imager, which represents a breakthrough in price-performance by providing detailed, fully radiometric images at a price of less than £4,000. The Fluke Ti40, Ti45, Ti50 and Ti55 IR FlexCam Thermal Imagers produce the industry’s largest and sharpest thermal images in real time: the IR-Fusion option is an innovative technology that fuses infrared and visible light images with each other on the 127mm colour displays, enabling easier and more rapid identification of suspect components.
The Fluke Thermal Imaging Pack can be requested via the Fluke website at www.fluke.co.uk, or by contacting Fluke directly on 020 7942 0700.
