Adhesive Bead Dispenser Avoids Rsi Risk

01 February 2002

New from EFD, the 752SYS dispenser applies controlled beads of low- to
medium-viscosity adhesives faster and easier than squeeze bottles and
other manual applicators. Using controlled air pressure rather than
operator guesswork to regulate flow, the dispenser not only improves
operator productivity, but also cuts the risk of repetitive stress hand
injuries. The unit includes a hand-held dispense valve, which is light
and comfortable to hold, connected via a flexible tube to a pressurised
one-litre capacity reservoir. Light finger pressure on the valve lever
produces a uniform bead of adhesive as the tip is drawn along the part,
the adhesive flow shutting off instantaneously when the lever is released.
