Flame safety controllers are right for small furnaces

Furnace manufacturer, Wickford, Essex based Micromelt Systems is using
Honeywell Satronic flame safety controllers on a new range of small glass
furnaces, which it markets to schools, colleges and research
organisations. The TMG 740-3 range controllers are suitable for fully
automatic forced and induced draught gas burners requiring short
pre-purge times. They feature a choice of three flame detection systems:
ultra violet, flame ionisation or infra red flicker, and a five-digit LED
display provides continuous indication of the flame signal strength.
Micromelt uses the ultra violet detection system on this new range of
propane fired units.
