That Engineering Chat podcasts return to EDS 2023, sponsored by Oriental Motor

02 October 2023

This year’s lively, informative conversations with Chatty Hatter’s podcast host, Nicole Piesse Turner will be recorded at Stand E26 at the Engineering Design Show (EDS) (11-12 October).

As the industry gears up for the 2023 Engineering Design Show (EDS), Chatty Hatter’s podcast production team is releasing pre-EDS podcasts with some special guests. The team will record more during the two-day event at the Coventry Building Society Arena for release after the show.

This year’s podcast series is sponsored by Oriental Motor, the specialist in small motors and drives. Pre-EDS That Engineering Chat podcasts are available to listen to in advance of the show and include insights from engineers and executives, including Zerocarbontech Solutions co-founder, Tom Pickering, who shares his vision of sustainable engineering; Mark Rushton from aPriori, discussing how to balance sustainable design with production costs; Dr Davide Di Palma, Engineering Projects Director at HWM Global, looking at smart sensors, AI and what’s next for the IoT and other leading industry figures.

The That Engineering Chat/Chatty Hatter stand (E26) will be the recording hub and reception area for some of the personalities and visionaries attending EDS.

Throughout the show, Nicole will sit down with engineers, CEOs, MDs and visitors to ask them about their own business and the future of market sectors as diverse as the IoT to responsible manufacturing.

“EDS is one of the premier events in the industry’s calendar and we love being there talking to engineers and executives about what makes them love this industry as much as we do,” said That Engineering Chat host, Nicole.

“We are recording and capturing all the excitement, all the innovation and all the buzz of EDS for our podcast audience.”

EDS is the UK’s biggest event dedicated to mechanical, electronics and embedded design, with over 200 exhibitors and more than 50 conference sessions and workshops.
