Axially-stiff coupling now in a modified shorter version

06 July 2009

The Loewe GK from Schmidt-Kupplung offers generous angular and radial misalignment compensation while at the same time resisting axial motion. In a recent application the series 'Torque' size 75 had to be installed within an axially limited space. The manufacturer modified its dimension and equipped the coupling with shorter clamp-hubs to ensure that it fitted into the small space. The size 75 with an outer diameters of 74,5 mm has a torque capacity of 90 Nm and provides a radial misalignment capacity of 2mm (angular misalignment of 3°).

The series Torque is available with outer diameters ranging from 27 to 100 mm and with a torque range up to 220 Nm. The couplings are equipped with anodized aluminium clamp hubs with bore sizes up to 50 mm.
