Precise and compact coupling for a variable radial shaft offset

New from Schmidt-Kupplung is a compact, torsionally stiff, high-performance shaft coupling suitable for applications involving a large, variable radial shaft offset. The well-balanced system transmits torque without adding side loads to the drive. The all-metal device transmits high torque within a compact envelope and provides high torsional stiffness. It also transmits torque under constant angular velocity at all possible offsets.

Three series are available with a torque range from 35Nm to 6,610Nm.

The 'Standard' series offers a generous offset capacity of up to 115mm and torque transmission up to 2.875Nm.

For higher torque requirements, the company offers its 'Power Plus' series, which offers torque transmission up to 6,610Nm while retaining an overall compact envelope.

The series 'Offset Plus' offers extreme parallel shaft offset up to 275mm - again within a compact envelope. All these couplings are available in locking-assembly version with standard bore diameters depending on size up to 90mm, standard hub-version and flange-mounting version.
