Schneider is set to double the size of its Motion and Drives sales team
29 April 2010

Schneider Electric has doubled the size of its Motion and Drives national sales team, to support continued growth in this area of its business. Since its creation in 2009, the Motion and Drives team, headed by Tony Pickering (pictured opposite) and Paul Pryor (pictured below) has expanded as a result of increasing customer demand, which is expected to rise further with the launch of the new Altivar 32 drive.
Paul Pryor, Motion and Drives Product marketing manager said: “Even with difficult trading conditions in the marketplace, we have experienced an exceptional year – this has warranted the significant investment to grow the Motion and Drives team in a short timeframe, in order to focus on providing support to all our customers’ requirements.”
The new Altivar 32, set to launch at Drives & Controls exhibition in June (see home page: Industry News), joins the latest generation of VSDs and is designed to be fully compatible with the space-saving Lexium 32 range of servo motion drives.
