ARRK adds new glass-like resin to its range of stereolithography materials

17 June 2010

ARRK has added a water clear resin to its stereolithography materials offering. The new Huntsman SL 7870 material offers a glass-like appearance along with excellent component strength and an ABS like performance. The material is also dimensionally stable in a humid environment.

Craig Vickers, MD for ARRK’s Rapid Prototyping division, commented: “The wide range of materials we have on offer, through our fleet of 12 SLA machines, allows us to find the most appropriate material for our clients’ needs. Whether you need a model built in a flexible material, a higher heat temperature resistance, an aesthetically pleasing and tough white resin, or a glass-like material, we have a resin to suit.”
