Funded design collaboration opportunities for your business

30 June 2010

Does your business have a design-related challenge? You could gain access to the skills of a talented design student and up to GBP1,000 of funding through the Brunel University Designplus scheme, which offers industry partners a chance to collaborate on the university's Final Year Design Students' Final Projects, and take advantage of a no-risk opportunity to have a dedicated design student working for their company.

Students work on a variety of real-life design challenges, supported and guided by their supervising tutor. For example, Lightweight Medical have been successfully working with Brunel final year students for three years.  A recent brief required a design for a more effective treatment system for premature babies with jaundice. Roisin Monnington was selected and her resulting work earned her an HSBC Innovation Award.

You'll need to express an interest by late July to take up this opportunity.
