Standard Spacers Offer Alternative To Tube And Bar

01 November 2004

The use of tube or steel bar to produce spacers, distance pieces,
ferrules or stand-offs, can be an unwanted added cost to an assembly or
process. As an alternative, Spirol Industries now offers a range of
standard spacers, which in most cases can be supplied at lower cost
compared with tube or steel bar before any additional work is applied.
Spirol spacers are supplied free of sharp edges, plated if required, and
they can be used where tube is welded into position, such as may be the
case in frames or chassis. Standard spacers are available from 3mm to
24mm internal diameter and lengths up to 150mm in steel, stainless steel
and aluminium.
