New product prevents full fault tripping of safety relays
01 October 2010
Monoflop is a new development from Wieland Electric that prevents the full fault tripping of safety relays, thus avoiding the need for full system resets. If restart cannot be achieved via the normal reset button, Monoflop will ensure that the fault is triggered as a machine shutdown and the machine will then start with a simple reset rather than going into a fault condition. Thus costly down time is avoided.
Monoflop is the latest addition to Wieland’s range of switching devices for safety applications. Products include the 4000 Series of universal safety relays and samos PRO, a compact modular safety controller for machine and automation applications, with multi-functional base modules that extend its safety functions.
Other products in the range include SMA sensors for operator protection, and the SNH series emergency stop pushbuttons, which provide contactless monitoring of protective doors and safe positions.
