Acquisitive ERIKS acquires North American gear specialist

ERIKS has acquired the activities of Diamond Gear Company (DGC), a manufacturer of industrial worm gears, bevel gears, and declutchable worm gears, and the exclusive North American representative and master distributor for a high-technology line of pneumatic, rack and pinion actuators, used for valve automation. DGC maintains substantial inventories of the full range of its product offerings and offers rapid delivery and full service shop facilities on-site to meet nearly all requirements.

Located in Houston, Texas, DGC supplies its products and services primarily to valve manufacturers, valve distributors and valve repair and modification shops in the Gulf region.
The ERIKS Flow activities in the US now consist of Rawson Inc., The Newdell Company and now the Diamond Gear Company
In a separate deal ERIKS has also acquired Cologne based AMG Pesch, a company whose activities involve the construction, design, manufacture, marketing and sale of high-quality pneumatic valve actuators, special valves, standard valves and assemblies.
