Government funding available for UK companies at global events

SCS Exhibitions in association with Electronic Exporters Group (EEG) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) have announced a programme of supported events for the UK electronics industry through until June 2011. If you are an eligible UK company the following Global Electronics Events have the benefit of financial assistance available through UKTI funding. Examples of costs for participation with the grant support is provided. The programme for July – December 2011 will be announced soon.
APEX/IPC Expo 2011 – Las Vegas, USA from 12th – 14th April. North America's premier event for emerging technologies in printed circuit board design and manufacturing, electronics assembly and test. Turnkey Exhibit packages available from £1,750. Grant applications deadline is 14th February 2011
SMT Nuremburg 2011 – Nuremburg, Germany 3rd – 5th May. SMT/HYBRID/PACKAGING is Europe’s largest event on System Integration in Micro Electronics. Space & Shell Scheme stands available from £1,800. Grant applications deadline is 8th March 2011.
Nepcon China 2011 – Shanghai, China 11th – 13th May. Nepcon China is the largest and most established platform for the Chinese SMT industry. Space & Shell Scheme stands available from £3,250. Grant applications deadline is 16th March 2011.
Laser World of Photonics 2011 – Munich, Germany 23rd – 26th May. The world’s leading trade fair for the laser and photonics sector is the only event in the world that covers all topics related to optical technologies in their entirety. Space & Shell Scheme stands available from £2,495. Grant applications deadline is 28th March 2011.
National Electronics Week North Africa 2011 - Tunisia, June 2011. Leading Exhibition & Conference for SMT, PCB, Components & Test targeting Tunisia and surrounding region. Space & Shell Scheme stands available from £400. Grant applications deadline is 5th April 2011.
